Don't forget, you can still watch MTV content On Demand.
Also there is a big library of music on demand, you will just have to put up with manually finding it - but at least the option is there

It's not a VM decision.. MTV (Viacom) have decided for what ever reason, to launch new channels in their place instead of renting more capacity from VM.

they are removing 3 and launching 5

It might only be temporary and when they next do a channel deal they could return, like when Nick, Nicktoons etc. disappeared off Telewest that time

Music on demand doesn't have that much worthwhile content especially if you like music, doesn't even have The Smiths .

MTV Classics is great loss.

Its a shame that MTV Classic is going as that is a pretty decent channnel but MTV shows and MTV1 pretty much show the same stuff as MTV and a lot of MTV shows is also on Viva.

I have asked this question several times before, this will be the last thing in HD we will ever get from SKY. From a technical point of view it would be a simple thing to do, all VM would need is a HD live events channel.
