Sky 3 moved to channel 180. Channel 123 now showing "channel moved slate".

Looks like Sky 1 HD, at least, is on it's way!

No the add was for series 1, it will most likely be shown on another channel. Although Channel One will not shut till Dec if what I have read is right so they still have time to cram it in.

hopefully this time if I setup a series link it might record the final episode

If we use the free Sky Movies weekend and record stuff can we watch it after the weekend is up when I no longer subscribe to the channel ?

As per MB post

-Virgin to move Sky 3 to Channel 180 on the 22nd of September.
-Virgin to move Sky 2 to Channel 123 on the 29th of September.
-Sky1 HD to launch on Virgin Channel 122 on October 1st.

Once Sky 2 Moved from to 123 this will leave 122 open for Sky1 HD

123 currently states Sky3 moved to 180.

why they moved sky 3 to 180 you would think they would keep them all together.
They done this as well with the itv channels as well.

ratings sky3 doesnt get as many viewers as sky wanted sky1hd as high as possible epxect a sky epg reshuffle in the near futre as well

Channel news:

Here is the list of things set to happen in the coming months.

September:
22nd - Virgin to move Sky 3 to Channel 180.
29th - Virgin to move Sky 2 to Channel 123.

October:
1st - Sky1 HD to launch on Virgin Channel 122.
1st - Red Hot 40+ Wives to be remove from Channel 480.
1st - UK Swingers to launch on Virgin Channel 480.
29th - Racing UK to have Freeview for 3 days on Channel 536.
30th - All Sky Movies and Sky Movies HD Channel to be made free to air for the weekend.

November:
1st - PCNE to be remove from Virgin Media in Ex-NTL areas on Virgin Channel 833 (Broadcaster told Virgin to).
7th - Discovery Knowledge to be rebranded as Discovery History on Virgin Channel 217.

UTV told someone in an email (I forget they name) that UTV HD will launch on Virgin Media by the end of 2010.

While it seems sky one hd is coming its just typical of virgin with the drip drip effect of launching channels where are the others sky hd basic channels, l suppose we will have to wait till next year for them l do not know why these channels and other channels are always held back by virgin, a baffling strategy it seems to me.

To be honest I think it would have been a better idea to move Channel One to 180 to allow Sky1 HD to launch on 120.
