Major issue in Belfast

My mates just off the phone to say his whole area's off. Belfast West or North is the likely area but I'm not in the same area so cant check the status. He says this has been the case for 4 or 5 hours. Can anyone confirm if theres an issue so I can let him know.

So it wasn't a "major issue" then... if the whole of Belfast had lost tv/BBI then it would have been on there.

more likely a small amp had gone affecting about 100 customers.

Is he back on now? Did he report it to VM?

If the was a significant fault it would be listed, but this appears to have been a glitch that you have only heard about 2nd hand from a friend on the other side of town so it not something you can actually be sure was actually fault just hearsay.

So that makes you wrong to blame Virginmedia when for all we know the was never actually an issue to report.
