A: All you need to do is pm me right now and tell me what Virgin Media area you are from* and I will post your news on ''Coming soon to Virgin TV'' for you.

* = I also need to know you local cable network - was you in an Ex-Telewest, Ex-ntl or Ex-Cable & Wireless area before Virgin Media appeared.

Q: WHY AM I NOT GETTING ''CHANNEL Z'' FOR?
A: Some channels are only in some areas - Zing is only in Ex-ntl and Ex-Cable & Wireless areas but Ex-Telewest area have got RTE Radio.

Q: NOW THAT BSKYB HAS TOOK OVER VIRGIN MEDIA TELEVISION WILL ANY CHANNELS CLOSE ON VIRGIN TV?
A: Living +2 will close - so that Living HD can launch on Sky Digital. But us Virgin Media viewers may see some channels moving about as we will get Sky1 HD, Sky Sports HD 1, Sky Sports HD 2 and all of the Sky Movies HD Channels as well as Sky News HD, Sky Real Lives HD, Sky Arts 1 HD and Sky Arts 2 HD all coming sometime before 2011.

==== Deals with broadcasters ===
When deals with broadcasters run out Virgin Media need to sign new one to keep that Channel on Virgin TV.

This is a continuation of the 'Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. I' thread which you can find here:

Media Boy will collate all the information from his various sources and provide it to me once a week, indicating any changed items in bold text;
3. I will update the initial post to show the changes/amendments.

Question Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. II

I hope this is not to off topic but with the potential softening in the relationship between VM & SKY over HD channels, is there any ever likelihood of SKY Box Office Live HD events being available to VM customers in the near future?

No news on Sky Box Office Live Events coming only Some Sky Sports HD Channels.

You'd think it would be all four SS's HD channels, I mean if they are prepared to do a deal for 1 and 2 which has the vast majority of the top sport that Sky offer, it would be pretty petty to hold back 3 and 4.

As far as I know only Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 HD Channels will launch on Virgin Media by the start of the football season.
