They may have been beaten to the punch but when it happens the BBC will have one and a half channels and the others one ?

As you may know Coronation Street is going HD on Monday on ITV1 HD (Not in Ireland or Scotland)

STV did say that STV HD will be broadcasting on Freeview and Virgin TV from launch - but only in Scotland.

Dont know if mentioned yet or not, but Belfast now on NGTV
have the recently added HD and radio4 LW on 911

and just in time for the no channels working much at all fault
and don't have a new card yet, hmmm

Yeah everyone has NGTV now. If you aren't receiving the channels, it could be a signal level issue, give faults a ring on 151 from a Virgin Media landline or 08454541111 from any other phone

I just checked the service status page, and says broadband and TV faults for my area, according to phone number, and it looks like a signal level fault, as all channels unwatchable, like a bad positioned sat dish, says hopefully sorted by tomorrow morning, will give it a bit and if still like that call then, though has been getting very very slowly better over last few moments

We've had a few problems in N.I. today. If your 'phone number is showing a fault on the status page, then the outage is still open.

Thanks for the replies, getting slowly better, been 4 minutes since a freeze up,
grrr i typed too soon lol, as long as I can moan at Eurovision tomorrow :-)
and wish for Sir Terry of Wogan to come back.

Now all I need are the new cards for the boxes and be all set,

as another point if anyone knows, (and off topic sorry) how long can I switch off at the plug my other old NTL pace box off before I have to phone up and get the channels added again? as I seem to be calling a lot lol, just to save having to call can switch it on a bit.

Agreed but the Beeb should be leading, not following. They always poo-poo'd the simulcast idea and only since they were allocated the other DTT slot that Five missed are they deciding that, actually, it makes sense to simulcast.

After 4 years, their beloved BBCHD is still a limited hours service with substandard audio most of the time (Latest series of Doctor Who excepted) and endless repeats.

Don't get me wrong, BBC1HD and a BBCHD channel that covers BBC2,3&4 content is great news for us viewers but it does smack of hypocrisy to me.
