Unknown channels for recordings

Hi hope someone can help,

Last night while watching a recording my new Samsung v+ box cut out and rebooted. Since then all my recordings have changed to channel unknown and all future recordings are set to record on channel unknown.

Also when i try and fast forward a recording sometimes it just continues to fast forward till the end, not letting me stop the fast forward and play the programme.

Finally today when I was watching ITV1 it cut out, rebooted and started up on Sky Sports which I had been watching previously. I know these are a lot of minor things but was wondering if they were related to a major fault?

Can anybody help?

Re: Unknown channels for recordings

Sounds like you have a faulty box so a call to Tech Support is in order on 151 from a Virgin phone line or 0845 454 1111 from any other phone.

Re: Unknown channels for recordings

I had the "Unknown channel" problem on my SA V+ box yesterday. Rebooted it and it's been fine since.

You call Tech Support as per my post above because it has nothing to do with customer relations and all they will do is put you back into the queue.
