Re: Virgin Tv Free for 2 months.....
But how can someone who VM have just written to offering two months free broadband see that page?
I do actually agree it should have been put somewhere else in the letter/leaflet to say that a Virgin phonline is required

Re: Virgin Tv Free for 2 months.....
You only have to read the small print and it says phone line required, so all bases covered.

Watch out BT
Just waiting reply from ASA, see if they agree with your opinion.
Why the hell would I want a telephone line from vm? after the last time they ripped me off?

No they haven't. You can get TV from Virgin without a phone line as is made quite clear on the website
However, the phone line IS required to get the two month offer.

Regardless of if you get any of the 3 services as a standalone product you get the same cabling and junction box as any customer receiving all 3 services, which requires a siamese hybrid fibre cable being connected to your property.
So if you have one service and ever decide to take one or both of the other 2 services all they need do is activate the appropriate connection.
The ASA will just point you to the small print as that is all that is required by law, if you fail to read it then thats down to you as you have the document.

You seem to know a lot about the law Moldova, whatever is in the small print does not necessarily cover " all bases "
It could be argued that a lot of people could be gullible to the other BS that was printed on the letter and misled into taking the agreement.
But again, as I said before, lets see what ASA say about it.
Always good to get more than one opinion, or atleast a neutral one hey?

Oh ok Ben, so the two month offer is being more than paid for by ( a ) the line rental and ( b ) the call charges related to that line.
So again, sorry vm must do better.

Re: Virgin Tv Free for 2 months.....
No problem as you will find that companies like Virgin will always stay within the law even if by just using small print, their legal teams inform them how to do this and stay legal.
