Re: New Smart card areas channel changes
Guys Iv just heard on a few cable forums that eventhough the nagra 3 will stopp all the doggy boxes from working. There is this thing called card sharing which will then make the boxes work.

Re: New Smart card areas channel changes
Card Sharing is not new, however it requires a LOT more technical knowledge that the current 'dodgy box'
Also, if caught cardsharing there is no way to claim you weren't aware it wasn't legal due to how it works.

You are assuming that all these people, with, lets not forget, the VM infrastructure in place, will go to sky. Some would, I would guess, having become used to their movies and sport, so may well upgrade to the suitable legitimate package on VM. It may be a bit cheaper on sky but its a lot more hassle than upgrading to a better VM package.
On top of that it sounds like upgrading to N3 is relevant to some of the discussions that VM are having with some channel providers so some of the income lost by losing dodgy box owners would well be cancelled out by better deals with channel owners than if N3 was not in place.

Now that is just plain inaccurate. You appear to have very selective reading skills. The only channels that anyone on the other forums are saying they still have in Leeds are BBC 1 , 2 , ITV 1 ,Channel 4 and 5.
