Oh it is going to happen in every single franchise within the Virginmedia Network guaranteed.
Do you have a box with which you view Virginmedia television channels which you have not paid for, if the answer is yes then regardless of what box you have you will lose access to them once Birmingham receives and completes its upgrade to NAGRA3.
This will be complete on the full network later this year.
If you do not receive Virginmedia channels illegally then this will have no effect on you or anyone else who is a customer.

So, you seriously think VM are going to go to the expense of maintaining two seperate encryption systems purely so they don't have to lose a few thousand users who are paying for the basic TV package? That is, of course, assuming there are a few thousand who are paying anything,,
Do you not think it will be cheaper for VM to just lose them? After all, the legit customers will get cards..
Perhaps we would be more likely to believe you if you told us where this "source" worked..

But you are an idiot who seems to believes everything that you print, were we actually have the facts and know that every single area is getting NAGRA3 cards because if they do not get the cards their viewing will stop.
You can believe what you want but the truth will hurt when the pretty screen pops up in Birmingham as elsewhere which signifies the imminent loss of illegal TV.
I expect your so called friend is a vendor of dodgy boxes trying to shift them before it is to late.
