My verdict on Virgin media

Right I have had it for 3 days and I can say I am overall very happy, the Internet is brilliant, went for 10mb and getting 9.90 mb

The HD looks amazing

Just watched the first half of the Tottenham vs Man utd game and it looks amazing.

The Tv catch up and tv choice on demand is very good, I found Ice Road truckers in HD, which I was surprised to see

Only problem is that when watching TV choice on demand when you exit it it doesn't remember where you left off and when using music on demand after you play 1 music video, I can't seem to go back I have to exit the whole thing and go to Home and select it again.

Am I doing something wrong?

nope it just hte way it works, because you are streaming it you cant go back to where you where. it like a iplayer stream if you clos ehte browser and come back unless your comptuer setup is great is it caches it then it replays from teh begining.

True. It only saves the position for pay-per-view films which go into 'Your Rentals'.

It should just return to the last menu when the video finishes. What is happening for you?

Correct, but it does use a cookie for that, which I presume a V/V+ box doesn;t do

And NO shoving a maryland choc-chip and hazlenut cookie in the card slot will NOT work!!!

As others have said, when you come out of the video, the system will not remember where you were, presumably owing to the way in which VOD works - it is not a recording.

The music video thing is interesting. If you just leave the video to play out, you will return to the screen you used to get to that video. If you do not let the video play out, simply press stop. Click on the OK box when it comes up and again you will be back to the menu.
