Not recieving channels!

Not recieving channels!

Hi, hope you can help!

I have two pace boxes in my house. Box 1 has stopped working, it states that the smart card is now invalid. (Box 2 still works perfectly). I put card 1 into box 2 and it doesn't work, which makes sense. Therefore you would think that it is the card that doesnt work.

However neither card works in box 1. this doesn't make sense and i can't see the logic behind it. Is it definitely the card that needs replacing? or is it the box?

afaik the card is paired to the box so you're no further forward i'm afraid. a card from one box will not work in another so it could still be either the card or the box.

Only way forward is a tech support call i'm afraid

Has box 2 been unplugged for a while as this may be the cause. Either way Virgin should be able to send a signal to the box to reactivate the missing channels if you ring tech support on 151 from a Virgin phone or 08454541111 from any other phone.
