Remote factory reset?

Hi all,

I have a SMT-2110C remote control which is becoming quite unresponsive.
I can't press any button twice in a row... Im always having to alternate patterns of button pressing to get where I want to.

Can anyone help?

Cheers.

Re: Remote factory reset?

Phone them up and tell them it's not working. They'll tell you about 10 days for a replacement . I got one in 3 .

That was the 2nd thing I tried
1st thing I tried was to pop the batteries out and restart the V-Box but to no avail. I know BT Vision remotes can be 'factory reset', but I can't for the life of me find the method for this particular remote (if its even possible).

I'll probably just end up calling Virgin for a replacement I guess. Would it just be 150 from the land line?

Re: Remote factory reset?

I don't know of a factory reset either. Ring 151 for faults.

Re: Remote factory reset?

Called 151. Spoke to a Rebecca. Very helpful. Surprised I didn't have to go through any diagnostics at all but I'm not complaining. Replaced the remote with no hesitation. Should be here is a week.
