Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
Well the fun almost lasted a day but, sorry guys, HD is passé - 3D is today!
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/digitalt...next-year.html
Glad I didn't rush out and by an obsolete HD TV set!

No it doesn't.
1: How do I record something from catch-up TV?
2: Not all channels with a +1 version are available on catch-up TV.

1. Why would you need to? You'd just watch it.
2. True, but that's where the V+ comes in.

4 things at the same time? How often does that happen (if ever?!?!) You'd have to be a very heavy tv user.

I agree. Things are repeated so frequently that it would have to be a rare set of events that occurred to make it essential that you had to view all of them in a short space of time.

In which case why have a video recorder of any type if you could "just watch it"? I often record programmes to watch at a later time when there's nothing on that I want to watch.

Not really. There have been quite a few times that there's been several things on at the same time that I want to record. Being able to us the +1 channels is very useful.
Just because you don't watch them doesn't mean they shouldn't be there. There are plenty of channels on the EPG that I never watch, doesn't mean I think they should get rid of them. If it's that much of a problem for you then why don't you just use the favourites list? Then you won't have to see all the +1 channels "clogging up the EPG".

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
National Geo HD channel is nothing but pixelated and actually froze my box!
FX HD seems great tho!
So this ESPN thing - do we get the premier matches in HD?

It's not that much of a problem for me. I just said I would prefer it if there were none rather than having even more. Just my personal opinion. Touchy. Sorry.

I'm perfectly chilled, it's just getting a bit repetative with everyone asking the same questions, when they're readily available in this thread and others, and other websites.
I apologise.
