V+ Pricing Trouble

Just phoned Virgin Media and couldn't understand a word.

We currently have 2 normal V Boxes, but want an additional V+ Box.

The V+ Box is £75 for installation, but how much would it cost to keep both of the V Boxes, in addition to the V+ Box?

Is it £5 for each box, or £9.50 for each?

Also, when can I speak to an English person on the Virgin phone lines?

Re: V+ Pricing Trouble

Someone should be along to correct me but I'm pretty sure they are £5 each. Unless you're on some retention or other package that takes a 2nd box into account e.g. VIP

Best to wait 'till tomorrow when some of the British people will be back in, and call in normal office hours.

Re: V+ Pricing Trouble

It would be £75 to install and then £10 to run the two standard boxes in addtion to the V+ (£5 per box)

Depending on the TV Package you are on you may also have a £5 V+ service fee

Cool Re: V+ Pricing Trouble

Hi, its Molly, new to forum. I loved what you said about maybe speaking to an English person - its such a problem especially with the mobile phone companies. Look, sorry if this is a bit cheeky but I cannot have Sky because of where I moved to, so went theBT Vision route and am very disappointed. Before trying to get out of 3 mth trial with them please could you, or anyone tell me if I will enjoy Virgin. Can have cable in the area, so have overcome that obstacle. I know it means forking out for a box, but I love TV and want to be happy with what I watch, I had no problems with SK=ky+ with them for years, this is so miserable not being able to enjoy or like what I watch most nights any more? Sorry to bother, if this is the wrong thread then can you help me towards the correct forum. Hope you sort out your problem, cannot help you, but still understand how we love and rely on our entertainment. Thanks you. Molly

Hi, I am Molly new to the forum today.

A avid Sky + viewer was gutted when I could not have a dish in my new flat. Went the BT Vision route, very disappointed. Three months offer then I can get out of contract, would I enjoy Virgin. Any help/comments/advice would be so gratefully received as 12 month minimum contract with Virgin and a box too would have to be paid for. Thank you and so grateful for any feedback. Immediate family still with Sky+ say, come on its just a tv listing, not the end of the world, but I love the tv and what with the credit crunch am not about to spend too much on going out or DVD's.

Thanks.
