V+ Installation - feeding pic into other rooms......

Hi there, I'm thinking about getting a V+ box but the dilema I have is that I've heard the picture output can't be split - I currently have a virgin cable tv box and I have split the picture output using a 4-way splitter. I'm not looking to get HD pictures round the house but just the standard picture through the existing coax cabling. I thought it would be straight forward but I've been informed the V+ box does not have an RF output and therefore I can't split the picture signal. Can this problem be solved? Is there anyone out there who knows how to overcome this minor hurdle?

Thanks
lewie

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Usually if you take the V+ box, it works out cheaper to keep your original set top box and they move it to another room for you.

This is what happened when I had my V+ installed, now all upstairs TVs are fed by the set top box upstairs rather than the set top box in the living room.

The V+ does output on RF, but if you switch to HDMI mode then the RF is disabled - bloody annoying and probably puts people off from having a V+ box, or just prevents others from getting the full HD and upscaled SD benefit (like me), but there we are.
(the vcr scart still works though)

Although you can easily split the HDMI signal with an appropriate box. that ensure HD quality pictures to all your TVs. If that appeals.
