V+ Faulty HD???

Hi guys i wonder if u can help me..

iv had my v+ installed 2 days...
originally on scart..

i came home .. plugged v+ in via HDMI.. changed the settings to 720 wide and whala.. had HD (which didnt really look picture quality HD even on the HD On demand vids/mov's)

to cut a long story short.. i unplugged the HDMI cable from my 24" Monitor today and plugged it into my 37inch LCD TV HD1080...

I booted the box back up .. changed it once again from scart to HDMI and got a blank screen (even quickly going through the AV's / HDMI Channel on my TV

I am not a novice at this.. i work for VM and have had a V+ Box before..

basically.. ever since i plugged it into my 37" TV .. The hdmi connection has not worked.. even on the screen it worked on for 2 days... (even switching between 1080 / 720 etc)..

i cant get a picture with HDMI on ANY of my HD TV's / Monitors in the house.. (where as it worked fine for 2 nites)

whats the chances that the HDMI connection on the back of this V+ box has blew?

i have tried EVERY possible means.. to get this box to display a picture via HDMI and i am getting nothing...

Scart works fine though...
i have tried 2 HD cables / 3 HDTV's /countless reboots../ manual reboots (by holding the play / stop button and selecting hdmi 720 or 1080.. etc.. and im lost...

please guys if u can help me it would be much appreciated

Re: V+ Faulty HD???

Surely if your scart is working then HDMI is not enabled? I know I had to go through a proceedure and press text on my remote to enable it. Can't remember what I did now though. Do a search on enabling HDMI.

Re: V+ Faulty HD???

just to let you know guys...

engineer came.. it was a faulty hdmi port..

make sure u power ur box and TV/Monitor off when swapping between TV's etc.. it could have been what caused it with me.. as i kinda remember it sparking when plugging the DVI cable in to the 24" and it didnt work afterwards...

it has been swapped out and is now working perfect.

thanks for the help on here guys
