I having strange issues with my box

I think its begining to look like the poor old thing starting to croak its last breath. Litterally had it for years now poor old thing started to play up.

The problem is its very intermittent would Virgin accept a call to replace if they turn up say its fine because its working fine at the time.

The box seems to keep losing the widescreen setting or is not transmitting widescreen to the TV and I have to keep going to the widescreen settings then put it on standby for 2 minutes and it rectifes it.

I also have been getting horrid sounds at night and putting it on standby and switching it on again rectifies it. Happen last night on the film New World on 445.

It quite regularly ignores the daily update to programme schedules and feeling all this sounds like memory clearing issues.

On bad days I am needing to either reset or standby 2 to 3 times a day
