Subscription is not the same thing as on-demand.

There is nothing on Wikipedia or any other reliable website that says this new channel will be any sort of VOD service.

This entire argument is totally pointless.

Well done TV boy. That clarifies Watch being a normal (linear) channel. Also since there are still listings for Gold at the same time it is not a replacement for UK Gold.

Watch will be on Virgin Channel 124 with GOLD moving to Virgin Channel 126 from the 7th of October.

Gold is going to be comedy only Watch is the linear catch up channel and Alibi is repacing UKdrama and will be a detective show based channel all seems pretty simple to me.
I can not make out if Gold is replacing UKGold or what though as the channel listings still show it as it but the information here is what says Gold is comedy only
