Does anyone else think it would have made more sense to move all these channels around when Sky came back in a single hit instead of the current hit and miss affair

They still don't have enough room for the +1 channels if they get them from ITV

Virgin Media has signed an deal for Pop Girl but Virgin have STILL to give CSC an channel number or launch date for Pop Girl to join Virgin TV.

Wow, there really are a terrifying amount of +1 channels. They're an even bigger waste of space than shopping channels, and that really takes some effort.

I wish Virgin had an a la carte option, if they did I'd cut my subscription down to about 5 channels (some of which are rather inconveniently located on the current XL scam) and cut the rest off completely.

Can anyone from Wales tell me the channels numbers for S4C and S4C2 (As I am updating my list for Monday).

Virgin to pass on lower VAT rate

Virgin Media will pass on the new 15% VAT rate to customers in its subscription prices, the cable operator has confirmed.

It has already reduced the VAT rate charged on landline phone calls from 17.5% to the new rate, but warned it would need more time to adjust its billing systems to reflect the change in other service subscriptions.

Virgin Media is offering its cable subscribers some freeviews in December:

Sci Fi channel (Virgin Channel 135) is having an freeview between December 12th - 14th

Setanta Sports (Virgin Channels 538 - 544) will be having an freeview from December 27th to December 30th – Setanta highlights for that few days when anyone who has the cable service will get free access to Setanta is:

Rangers v Celtic and Manchester United v Middlesbrough.
