So you don't have to pay 'extra'.

However you can't reduced the XL Plus by paying the conversion fee or anything like that either.

I think the agent was getting confused between XL Plus and Triple XL (just like everyone else)

Sounds like you where right..

I rang back this evening and explained to the bloke what the woman told me earlyer and what you said.

He said we can reduce it to £59 as I have Call barring and things on my landline.

He removed Sports and Movies for me and all sorted been downgraded now.

He also tried to get me to downgrade my internet as well.. I was like no thanks I use that alot hehe.

All downgraded now

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

All Customer Relation deals are a new 12 month contracts, and have been since May 2007. As are sales bundles when you add a service (since September 2007)

Usually the only people who can offer you a deal without you entering a new contract for all services is Customer Care. And all their deals are for when you upgrade.

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

I downgraded from VIP last week (I still think it's a great deal, but money's a little scarce at the moment!). The very helpful guy, Anthony, did indeed explain it was a new twelve month contract. And this was also pointed out in the email that I requested he sent me.
