Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

The XL £56 is XL TV, XL BB and XL phone with one standard V box.

The XL Plus @ £65 is all the above AND a V+ box for an install fee of £30 (rather than £75)

You could add a V+ box to the £56 bundle which would take it to £61 but you would have to pay the upfront £75

This price is correct for Triple XL downgraded from VIP where the customer has chosen not to pay the £100 conversion fee for the V+.

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

Yes. If you then wanted to you could pay £100 conversion fee to get the V+ £10 rental removed so you would then be on the £56 bundle

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

So what is XL Plus Bundle then?

I'm on the VIP Package but dont watch Sky Sports or Movies but use the V+, V Box, Phone Services, XL BB and XL TV.

Just bascially not Sports Or Movies.

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

Does anyone ever bother to read the whole thread or they just ask the same question over and over?

The XL Plus package is £65 per month and is effectively the VIP without the Sky Sports and Movies
This on the first page!

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

You have a choice, you can either have the extra V box or not.

Yea I just rang CS to find out about it considering I dont use Sky Sports or Movies and he said it is basically VIP without Sports and Movies with V+ and an additional V box.

He told me to ring Customer Relations tomorrow morning and they should be able to downgrade me to it

Just got of the phone to Customer Relations.. was quite supprised that I didnt have to wait in a que of calls..

They had a look at my package and said the XL Plus would be £78 or around that mark as I'd have to pay extra because I had the V+ installed for free.

She said they could do a one of charge of £75 which would then take that down but she advised me to stick with the VIP untill Feb 09 when the 12month contract expires and they can then downgrade me to XL Plus and I'll save more. :P

Re: Anyone heard of XL Plus Package

The XL plus charges the same as VIP for the V+ as they both have a reduced install fee.

So you don't have to pay 'extra'.

However you can't reduced the XL Plus by paying the conversion fee or anything like that either.

I think the agent was getting confused between XL Plus and Triple XL (just like everyone else)
