Re: output on tv RF connector
Hi
I'm not sure if you need to do anything 'extra' to the box, it should mirror the scart output on the RF out by default (It does on my Samsung, anyway ).
You should be able to connect RF out on the stb to RF in on the PC & then run the TV setup for media center (choose the antenna option, rather than cable) & get it to search for the signal.

Re: output on tv RF connector
Hi thanks for that, but have already tried, all media centre pics up is 5 poor quality terrestrial chanels, which i think is cos the lead is acting as an ariel, it doesnt find the digital output... i have in IR sender and reciever which is then supposed to control the STB.. it's driving me mad.

I'm not sure, but I think the Pace4001 includes a 'bypass' unit, which overlays the analogue terrestrial channels (1-5) onto the cable signal ex the RF socket - hence why you are picking them up.
What is puzzling is why you aren't picking up the cable signal (effectively channel 6), as well ???

Re: output on tv RF connector
Look at the label on the bottom of the box. If the part number ends with anything but "35", the box has a bypass built in. Possibly the RF output from the box is clashing with one of the analogue channels. Tell me what area you are in, and I can tell you what RF channel the STB's output ought to be on.
