Virgin Media in talks over bringing back Sky
Virgin Media, the cable company, has held talks with BSkyB about restoring Sky channels to its service.
The company announced this morning that revenues are down slightly in the first quarter of 2008.

Re: Virgin Media in talks over bringing back Sky
Oh boy. youve asked a question which is gonna be the topic of some debate now.
As far as "Virgin in talks with Sky about bringing channels back"... Im sick of hearing it.
Its the same thing thats being said every few months, and people publish this on sites to keep getting hits, and to make it look news worthy. We all know it isnt. The Sky channels ARENT COMING BACK!!!!
Otherwise, why would there be a court case going on?
Virgin are saving money, and growing well WITHOUT the Sky Channels. It would be against the better judgment of a businessman to bring them back, because they have no value to Virgin.
Virgin is growing perfectly, WITHOUT these channels.
And, Lee, if your wife is wanting to watch Gladiators, Id be worried.

Virgin: No change in dispute with Sky
There have been no significant developments in Virgin Media's carriage dispute with Sky, according to Virgin chief executive Neil Berkett.

Re: Virgin Media in talks over bringing back Sky
And people wonder why we haven't flocked to publish this as news on CF.
I really haven't missed any of the Sky channels. So if they come back, they come back, if they don't - I won't lose sleep over it.

Re: Virgin Media in talks over bringing back Sky
It's not about if individuals care about the sky channels or not, its about supplying infomation!

why go over old ground. if there is a decision then post the news if they are still entrenched and going nowhere then don't..
VM have no intention in my opinion of getting back channels that are losing customers month after month.
I personally have far more important events in my life than getting upset over a bunch of crappy channels.
