v+ help....

I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a V+ BOX and I currently have a problem which is
frustrating me big time!!

I can only change channels at present with my Remote(have changed the batteries!!)

I CANNOT access the guide, the home page or my V+ service!!
also when I change channel no info box appears on screen!!
there is no access to any of the above when I try accessing from the box either

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I did thanks, guy coming out on Monday...

I'd been in trying to set up my HD
gave up in the end and it only started after that,
I was just wondering if I'd done anything stupidly simple!

Re: v+ help....

might be worth checking your input source on the tv as when watching v+ through my DVD i also can just change channel and not view the tv guide etc.
Have to switch back to my cable box input source.

Re: v+ help....

Sounds like you have set the V+ into HD mode, but your TV isn't in HD mode, or there's a problem with your HDMI cable.

To get back into SCART mode, plug the SCART cable into the top socket, then do this:

Hold in the Stop and Play/Pause buttons on the front panel, and press Reset. Keep Stop and Play/Pause held in until the display says 'boot'.
After a few seconds the display should say 'outpt'. Press the Fast Forward button several times until the display says 'Sd', then press OK. Wait for the V+ to reboot then you should be back in SCART mode.

Did you manage to get HD working?
