Sky Sports
Hi, A new VM customer & poster here.
I switched from sky a couple of months ago to save money & have some HD progs to watch. I Have the XL TV package along with medium BB & Phone but I really miss Sky Sports. So here is my question:
How do you get cheap sky sports added?
I read on these forums about people ringing VM & getting some great deals. When you call VM, who do you ask to speak to & what do you say? surly you dont just say "Give me a cheap deal or I am off to sky" & what if you did & they said "Ok, We will pick up your V+ box tomorrow"???
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Sky Sports
If you are on the XL TV package, Sky Sports will automatically be added to your subscription as will most of the Setanta channels. VM cannot discount this any further. So I don't quite get how you are missing Sky Sports.
Normally people will be ringing retentions towards the end of their contract to see if they can get a better deal.

Only Seatanta Sports in included in the XL TV package.
Sky Sports has never been included, it can be added to TV XL for £18 per month.

Re: Sky Sports
Yeah, I already get Sentanta Sports & I know Sky Sports is an extra 18 quid a month but I was hoping someone would tell me how they get 'offers'.
As for the HD, I thought (& was led to believe) there would be more HD on VOD.

Re: Sky Sports
You should look carefully at the VIP package for £85 pm which includes Sky Sports & Movies as well as XL TV pack, XL broadband, & free phone calls. May well work out less than just adding Sky Sports to what you have. You may even be able to negotiate lower.
