Also, i bought a headset for my TV, however i dont have an Audio out terminal on my box are they currently on the new boxes? will i need to upgrade my box? i could plug it in the tv but i want it on the box..

Re: 1 Problem and Question
Depending on what STB you have, the volume and mute buttons would need to be tuned in using codes for the make of your TV set. Not too sure on these, what make is it? And what STB do you have?

Re: 1 Problem and Question
Has it ever worked? I understand that VM remotes do not control the audio on the V+ box (it does not have any audio capabilities) It simply controls the volume function on your TV. It is for this reason thet the VM remote needs to be programmed to your telly by entering a special code. If it has worked before, you could try coding the remote again.

Re: 1 Problem and Question
Look on the front panel of the STB and it should tell you 'Samsung', 'Pace' or if you have a V+ STB then it'll say that anyway (it's a Scientific Atlanta) :P But I need to know the make of your TV as well.

Re: 1 Problem and Question
If your box doesn't have phono outputs, you'll need something like http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?...35904&doy=19m4
No Virgin box I know of has a headphone output, so you'll need an amplifier.
