Analog TV service
A friend of mine has found out recently that he can get Virgin Cable services in his area (Wymeswold). It appears that he can only get analog TV though.
His questions are: - What channels can you get on the analog TV service
- Would the fact that only analog is available affect the broadband (e.g. make it ADSL/slower)?

Re: Analog TV service
I will leave number 1) to TV Boy.... With regards to number 2 no, it has nothing to do with then phone line so nothing to do with ADSL..
Better off with Sky though.......

Re: Analog TV service
It's fed from the Leicester headend, which has 29 analogue channels. I can't tell you what they are though.

Re: Analog TV service
As an aside, why do channels on analogue cut off at the same time as they used to in the olden days, only to be replaced by a large 'Virgin TV' image? Strikes me as wasted bandwidth.
