Few questions

Hey,

I was wondering, with a certain box begining with E, ending in X and having a V in the middle, do you need an existing Virgin box to use it, and if I got a V+ box and minimum package could I use the certain box to get every channel and record them with V+?

Also, can I just get a box and use a splitter to connect into my existing virgin connection (broadband) or do Virgin need to install it?
