Signal Problems?

For some time now we have been experience break ups while watching or recording some channels. When it first started I contacted Virgin they came out checked the boxes outside said it should be ok and went. It still was the same so I phoned again another engineer came, checked it out changed the V+ box and went. We are still experiencing breaks in channels and it is not good, we have a 2nd normal box upstairs and there are no problems with that.

My question is: if i was to unplug the V+ from downstairs and plug it into the cable upstairs do you think it would work or could anyone give me any suggestions of what I should do?

It's getting to the point where I'm thinking of canceling and going back to Sky, but I don't want to do that.

Re: Signal Problems?

Have you asked / bought another cable from the V+ to the box on the inside of the wall.

I've ruled out the external cabling as your upstairs box works OK.

Swap the internal (coax) cables around and see if the V+ is solved (though you should have breakup problems with normal box).
