I have NEER been able to get BBC interactive through the red buttin working properly on VM. Is this the case nationwide? Or just with me?

Would I be liable for a refund of some sort, because in effect I am paying for a service I just can't get, and I miss alot of sport and music events.

Red button never worked for me on the V+ box till I called them up, it'll go to level 2 repairs thingy then after a couple of days I got a phone call and it works fine now. Hope that helps.

I tried the red button on BBC2 for the first time yesterday so I could continue watching the live snooker, and it sort of worked first time. The BBCi menu came up, but when I selected the option for the live snooker, it said that the service was unavailable, try later. So I just tried it again, and it went straight in.

It just simply never works for me on BBC 1 OR 2. I'll be ringing VM tomorrow about it.

its never worked for me either!
Do you mean all the BBC interactive services on the red button should be working as they do on Sky? I always assumed cos we are on cable we get a more limited BBC Interactive selection?

Yes, I frequently miss rugby 7's, snooker, darts, live music and this sunday is African Cup of Nations - all live on BBC Interactive.

Its not limited in its content at all - you're supposed to be able to recieve it all - its only limited because it doesn't work whatsoever!

Re: Interactive

All of the Interactive content is unreliable!

If it doesn't work, a box reboot usually gets it working again, which indicates to me, box software issues.

It might also depend on how old your box is, as some are of a lower spec and thus slower and unable to cope.

Re: Interactive

Just rang them and the lady said "sorry it is an ongoing problem we have had since JUNE, and the engineers are working to try and sort it out as we speak."

Is that good enough?

Re: Interactive

No, it's not good enough, because isn't true. There are a couple of V+ bugs that cause the red button to work intermittently, but if it doesn't work straight after a reboot they haven't set your account up properly.

Keep calling until you get someone who knows what they are doing.
