Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
surely they must see that at the moment if you want HD then your choice is Sky or no one. Why are they committing this suicide.
if they signed a few exclusive VM only deals for HD then they would have something Sky didn't, added to the VOD and BB it would be a real alternative

Well said gadge, that was Gerald Ratner, owner of Ratner's. When asked how he could sell his jewelery so cheaply he replied, "that's simple, because its a load of crap", and we all know what happened to Ratner's. The similarity with Berkett and VM seems to be going down the same road, hopefully the board we make this "no mark" resign.

Virgin really have flushed their service down the toilet in a remarkably short space of time. It's time to leave.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
What is the market for HD ? What proportion of new TVs sold are HD ready ? Is it worth Virgin spending money on a format in the short term which will only benefit a few hundred customers ?

Your lucky to have that i'm ex.ntl and only get TV5.
The way I see it:
if you want HD TV go to Sky,
if you want international channels go to Sky,
if you want programme information go to Sky
Virgin sort it out, people want HD channels, not just HD VOD, people want international channels and people want a service that works 24/!
