Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
yeah VM TV seems to be abit stuck atm dont it, not many new channels have launched lately. but Gay TV is PPV so in their eyes their more likely to make more money out of Gay TV then a normal Pay TV channel like Sky One.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Hey Guys I Sent An Email To Malcolm Wall (Virgin's chief executive of content), Asking Him About HD Channels I Asked Him This;
"Hi There Malcolm I'm Just Wondering Will Virgin Media Be Adding Any New HD CHANNEL LET ME UNDERLINE HD CHANNELS And NOT ON DEMAND. I Would Love To At Least Have ITV HD When It Launches As We Are Lacking Behind Sky And Soon Proabaly Free Sat. I Look Forward To Your Reply."
I Sent The Email Yesterday And Got The Reply Today Saying;
"We do not have immediate plans to launch HD channels due to bandwidth constraints but we are planning ahead and will be sure to accomodate the terrestrial channels including ITV at the time."
Best wishes, Malcolm

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
New HD channels would be great not just HD on Demand services I agree, and I would also love to see more music channels, theres about half of the music that the Sky has.

can you please not post with the first letter in capitals ? it makes it very hard to read and I can't see any point to it either

i find it does, if you had a choice between two books both with the same text and one had the first letters in capitals I don't think you would pick that one up.
The rules of grammar are there to make it easier to read and a capital letter is there for the start of a sentance so you can see where a sentance starts, what is the point of using it for every word ?

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
being dsylexica i have to agree varying between capitcals and non capitcals is far easier to read, in fact vary the capicals when there is new sybuallbe is even better, i think syuablle is the word i mean ie being would be BeIng

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
The Hits is rumoured to be set to rename 4Music on the 5th of May.
On the Hits web site it says that 4Music is only The Hits until May 4th so it may happen.
Info from thehits-tv.co.uk/ & Wiki.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Its all talk with virgin media and no action , they have more or less shown they dont care much about there tv service but will carry on removing channels and still putting the price up, belive new channels being added when you see it and then if new channels do get added wonder which channels they will take off few weeks later

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
they are only removing the poor rating channels
what he point in having channels that says only get 10000 people watching when they coudl replace ti with one say that 100000 watch
there is more channels in the pipeline but it still some way off most likely i say september before you see a lot of channels coming
plus the others one that are leaving are one exculsive to xntl or xtw there aint been a channel remove that was on both networks since sky one any others have been remove by the broadcast closign them
