Personally, I think it was a bad choice to release the V+ box, especially when there is a better box on the market.
But, what they could do is just use the V+ as a PVR, and the other SA as a V+ HD... Scrubbing HD channels off the V+ (but they could keep HD on Demand movies).

So for hose of us who paid £150 for the box for hd will have to pay 4 a new hd box cant see em being free customer services told me it not the box wot need to be up graded it is the network but unsure about systems working yet

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
It seems that instead of signing new deals for channels such as Flaunt and Leonardo to be available in all areas Virgin are just getting rid of them

AS far as I know DMax +1 will only be on Sky Digital. But I have been told that Arsenal TV is testing on an Ex-ntl box but they did not show me anything to back the rumour up.

EMAP's Radio & Magazine Division have indeed been sold to German Publisher H Bauer but Global Radio are a new uk radio uk group who bought out Chrysalis Radio (including LBC & The Arrow) last year and have no affiliation with H Bauer at all.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
ok this is the information i got today, basically most of the lower rated chanensl will be going , i dnt know which ones these will be but i am guessing
545. Motors TV
811. Zee Music
812. Alpha ETC Punjabi
833. PCNE Chinese
928. Radio: Magic*
929. Radio: Q*
962. Radio: The Hits*
963. Radio: Kiss 100*
964. Radio: Kerrang!*
966. Radio: Smash Hits!*
EPG Channel Name
830. Deutsche Welle TV
832. Leonardo - confirmed by tvboy
920. Radio: WRN Europe
971. Radio: Deutsche Welle Radio
these aint been confirmed it could even include oens i have missed but i was jsut told that the ones with lower ratings when teh carriage ends they will be removed which for most of them the carriage will probally end soon
as for new channels dmax+1 is unlikely to come for a few months to see how poplour dmax is if it poplour enough dmax +1 will probally come sumemr time
animecentral MIGHT come with pop girl end of janaury time but i think it iwll eb delayed until the summer until it ratings come upa bit but virgin are very interested in it
nuts tv might come as early as feburary
i dnt have any other information aprt from this so please dnt ask me i am under a lot of stress due to personal problems
