You sure Virgin said that?

Yes...

Virgin Media CEO Malcolm Wall said the group will not add more channels to its cable box, instead focusing investment in on-demand services. He told the FutureMedia conference: "The advertising revenue that is going to be lost for those in linear television is not yet recaptured in the displaced viewing. Linear channels are going to come under increased pressure."

Happy new year to you and everyone else too
How long can these talks go on for? The main thing I miss from Sky is the Simpsons on Sky One

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
confucious its not a short and simple thing or lets jsut settle, they both have pride at stake, teh court case, sky has teh reviews going on, there is the fact nither want to concede defeat and there more reasons than jsut that

It only came out on DVD a couple of months ago. Give it time...
I mean, we had to wait for Season 3 of CSI to come on, and they are on their 8th season!
Id say Lost wont be on till about March!

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Note: To anyone who can see DMAX testing on their boxes [ NTL Only] You will see 'OBE' on it. This is due to Discovery buying the Sky EPG Channel number off OBE to broadcast on Sky on their channel number.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
The supposedly "closed" channel Virgin Radio Groove (953) is as I write back on air after having had a "Channel ceased broadcasting" message and dead air on the EPG on New Year's Day, and beyond.
However, as of now, Thursday evening, it's broadcasting again and back to carrying full EPG data and station ID's etc. as though nothing had happened to it. So, is it closing or have SMG/Virgin changed their minds?

Thats fine but Branson and Virgin did say that those who moved to VM from Sky wouldn't be without Lost for long and expect season 3 to be aired On Demand in Summer 2007
