Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.

Yup. We still have it...

Im not sure when the Contract runs out, but it could be another channel that disappears from the whole network, like Scuzz and all those.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.

Here is a update i jsut got from my source, ( i had some free time from my HND project) , the plan jsut now is to start to do a gradul launch of channels starting end of march/ begining of april (they where not defintive about exactely when) one of the first to appear will be bbc iplayer as advertised by vm and bbc, they are going to be doing extra test with it something to do with there will be hidden transport streams for it or something similer to interactive

then other channels that have been confirmed by broadcaster etc will start to appear, as with hopefully alignment chanensl for xtw and xntl ( no meantion of what ones), please do not moan at mean if this does not mean arsenal tv i am only passing on what i got from my source

then hopefully a few extra additions (again no meantion of what)

although they did say they are hoping to have ITV HD in place for the europeon championship and olpymics but this depends on ITV launching it on time but if they do they are defintively wanting to try launch that one

CH4 HD there no meantion of it i got the feeling from my conversation they aint particular interested in putting it on just now (PLEASE bear in my that is my opinion of how i itnerupted my sources information and i aint great with english interuption)

Please no PM's i really am quite busy

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.

Just wondering, but as the the BBC iPlayer is web based, will the iPlayer on Virgin be broadcast quality like catch up and on demand?
