Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
I could not agree more with comments from Gadge and Grabbi, concerning Richard Branson and VM, Cable Tv in this country is appalling and is run by muppets, who only want the profit, and are not interested in the customer, when Sir Richard, gave his name 'Virgin ' this name is world renown, and everyone knows that with this name, they have a product that is like gold and can be trusted, and several months ago, he agreed that VM could be sold, several buyers have come forward, and now drifted into the night air and disappeared, we have several directors who have left, VM are never going to be a major company, unless someone injects money (that they know they wont get back) and we have NEW people who want the company to get bigger, instead of being in the premier league, along with Sky, we are in league 3 of the championship - anyone got £40 million quid to spare.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
The thing is with VM, as stated above, they are not interested in investing any more money. Look at the adverts for th V+ box that have suddenly appeared everywhere (the £75 off one), it doesn't even mention that it has HD capabilities. Let's face it, VM want to concentrate on the On Demand service they offer - whilst I think it's very good and there is some HD stuff on there, they need more HD channels - Ch4, a movie channel - and of course their own channel V1 but lets face it they can't even do it in widescreen!!!
Come on Virgin, we pay enough for this stuff lets have it!!

If you take into account the amount of channels removed in 2007 compared to the channels that launched, there's barely a difference and certainly none that would affect capacity.

And now for me to say thanks to the following regular contributors of this thread who give me some of my Information.
They are:- grabbi, JG3870, Jasmeet, buba3d and sakiblateef.
