Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Hi Sakiblateef, l think that you have brought up a very good point, the biggest problem is, that VM, won't, l have spoken many times, with VM over various channels, and they have told me, they don't have the carriage available only for the channels they provide, and are popular, and l know that Sky have lots of asian and other ethnic channels which are extremely popular and therefore are shown, VM are an extremely stubborn cable tv service, it is about time they lived up to it, and gave the consumer what they want. They claimed that they give the consumer, the wider choice for a revolution in television, so where is it, when l went into cable, there was a certain channel, that l was watching, with my mother in law, and l went home, and found it wasn't on my box, and l was told then by VM, as l did not live in that area, l could'nt receive it, this is how stupid it is.

Did you not read the links you have been provided with?
I can't help thinking that such a tendency to ignore evidence & only state your opinions as the facts, is something which pervades rather too many of your posts.
That is, obviously, just my opinion, but I feel the easiest way is to add you to my 'ignore' list, then I personally won't be tempted to post evidence for you to ignore ......

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
For a start Virgin could give the ex.ntl side DW-TV. That would make two international channels (not Asain). I'd also like TVEi and more Asain channels like Star One/Gold, ARY QTV/Oneworld, Zee Gujarati etc.
Why can't they make some of the Asain channels avaliable in the TV:XL pack? Sky include some of them in certain mixes. Surely it would intise more people to subscribe to the Asain channels eg: Zee TV and ZEE Cinema if they included Zee Music in TV:XL as a teaser.

In my opinion you are right cable guy, India is often referred to as The Asian sub-continent.

How many tiems do you need to be told the channels can go onto sky if they want sky has no control over it, virgin have to pay the channesl to come to them and there often askign to much for the channel

We are at crossed wires mate, I'm agreeing with you, India is not part of Asia, but its referred to by a lot of people as the Asian sub-continent, which to me states that India although physically attached to Asia, is not a part of it, but a separate entity, hence sub-continent.
