it did actually have a webpage on the VM website written like a letter with bransons signature at the bottom saying this

those who moved to VM from Sky wouldn't be without Lost for long and expect season 3 to be aired On Demand in Summer 2007

ah right, i am just sick of hearing its virgn media branson is at fault when he has little to do with it, people are unaware or not wanting to accept branson doesnt really have anythign to do with teh company he is jsut a public figure to make the company havea godo name
as for lost season 3 i think its comign may time, i wouldnt believe what they tell you lightly, the fact is sky complained to the producder who sold them the rights to broadcast it and moaned that virgin media would get to offer it first on the vod service which broke there agreement so i think virgin where told to hold off fora 6-12 months but i dnt know the full details i just know they where told to hold off but the porducer btw it merely a geuss that it was sky that influnced the producer decision

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
retentions rarely know anything lol
but seems this person might be knowing something
analaouge switch off i believe is 1-2nd quarter this year which will fre eup more bandwidht for channesl
more transport streams should cone onlien shortly i believe within 2 months maybe a ew weeks they mgith already have been tested which should allow a few more channels
bb 50 meg i believe is to come out 2nd/3rd quarter this year
switching ot mpeg 4 i been told this might happen by 2010 as they are developing new boxes but i will believe it when i see it but that ownt give much mroe bandwidht they need to switch to qam 256 for that

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Id like confirmation that a new box could be on the way for Virgin Customers... which transmits MPEG4, not MPEG2 like the V+.
Personally, I think it was a bad choice to release the V+ box, especially when there is a better box on the market.
But, what they could do is just use the V+ as a PVR, and the other SA as a V+ HD... Scrubbing HD channels off the V+ (but they could keep HD on Demand movies).

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
The only grudge I have about it not being MPEG4 compatible box is the amount of programmes able to record. You could say the same about it only being a 160Gb drive though but then it evens out when you realise the vast amount of space anytime on sky wastes.
