Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
i have been talkign to my source about the chartshow media channels because i dnt understand why they dropped them, they admitted that higher up than them there is goign ot be a push for music on demand and there plannign on expanding the library next year
but they also said the music channels themself will be replaced and coming back ..... now this is a purely a guess because my sources when i quized them a bit more wouldnt say what channels but did say its unlikely to be ones that have left, the impression i got was there might be more added but virgin own chanenls like this is purely a example virgin rock but they cant say much on the matter only said it more than likely it be 3rd quarter 08 before we see anything

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Virgin said there wouldnt be any more Linear channels... so that would rule out Virgin Rock.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.
Hi all
New to this site so please be gentle...
Have just purchased a full HD panasonic Plasma and looking to get as much HD content as possible. Have full Virgin package with a V+ box being installed Friday 4th jan.
Seems a lot of you know whats going on so what are Virgins plans for HD services this year?
And what i really want to know will Sky Sports HD ever be available on Virgin?
Thanks in advance and apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere!

That's how it's broadcast: it's 4:3 rather than widescreen. Sky Sports News is broadcast the same way on Freeview and Sky.
