bit off topic but did ntl/ telewest test hd channels of itv channel 4 bbc in 2006 if so y is it so hard to get the channel 4 one back quickly

itv hd went a logn time ago after the world cup they onyl trailed it for a few months

no it doesnt mean it will come back on launch it might come on launc h ti might not it depends on bandwidth and carriage being signed

go to home, then press 8, then press 6, then press the green button think to go a page down until abotu page 3 or 4

alternatively go into the engineer menu you will find it in there

No news but Virgin are testing two channels out on my boxes.

NTL always has more channels than Telewest due to Telewest always thinking about the money and not their viewers.

although weirdly if you look at your v+ box channels and hodgie amount there abotu 10 which is about right

and if oyu look at yoru v box there about 4 which means tehre could be 6 xntl chanensl testing

although i notice xntl onyl has 27 transpodner where as xtw has 31

so it seems more likely that the capicty problem is xntl

ex-NTL still carries more channels with less transponders than ex-TW does (at the moment) so there must be a difference in the headend equipment that ex-NTL & ex-TW use, i wonder if ex-NTL's transponders can carry more channels than the ex-TW transponders.
