Dont worry though as Virgin 1 has the Sarah Connor Chronicles coming on Sunday I believe. Having seen the first 2 episodes Im looking forward to the rest of the season.

Now if only Virgin had a way to keep SCC off Sky.
I can't find any info on this programme being aired on V1 ! Anyone kow when this starts?

Thanks

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.

Yup. With the writers guild thing, Virgin are Laughing at Sky right now, because they have lost everything... and they are scrambling for content now

Thats why your seeing rip offs of programs left right and centre.

I mean "How much smarter than a 10 year old" or whatever it is? Im sure something like thats been on the BBC... as a Kids show.

The Sky basics arent worth the time, i mean sky one shows movies??? Since when has Sky One become another Sky Movie channel?

They show 4, 5, or even 6 episodes of a show back to back, they have no new stuff to show because they put all of their money into American shows which are not being made currently due to the writers strike!

I can say this till im blue in the face, i do not miss the sky basics, if i they come back they come back, if they dont.. oh well theres other ways to watch the stuff they have on there without lining the murdochs pockets!
Your right. The subscribers went up , and it says a lot.

Also, there is only so much Malcome in the middle re-runs I can take, as well AS tv show marathons, because the lazy people cant be bothered putting content in there?

Give the strike a look in also, they havent got half decent programs... so i dont think itll come back... although, with the problems they are having currently, we might get it cheaply...

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.

Yes. Sky One are telling that to the papers... but they dont know how long this strike will go on for.

Fact is, they (Sky) are saying this, planning to play all episodes up to the strike. Then fans will be waiting for some time after the strike.

Fans of Lost have probably been complaining to Sky about something out of their control, and have given in to demands.

If I was in that position, Id wait until the Strike is over, and then start showing the episodes. But Sky are stuck, so there you are.

Prison Break is back soon, though, so I suppose Sky are feeling a little more relief off that.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin Media 2008.

Setanta Sports has acquired the exclusive broadcast rights to UFC programming in the UK and Ireland.

The multi-year deal covers all UFC UK fights in 2008 and 2009, and from July all other UFC fights will be exclusively live on Setanta.

The broadcaster added that supercards would not be made available on an additional pay-per-view basis and will simply air on Setanta Sports 1.
