Re: ppv movies for 1p Discuss
Just noticed, Rocky Balboa is already 1p here (ex-NTL) including the HD version. Also, all the other Rocky movies are available for 99p

Re: ppv movies for 1p Discuss
They rotate, 1 film a week gets the 1 p treatment. I suppose it's intended to get us all looking more at the on demand stuff.

They really cannot do that for new premium stuff but one thing strikes me daft is some being at 99p-£1-50 when the same movie is free on film 4 or any other channel broadcasting that week.
What virgin should do is just charge 1p for all films that are to broadcast that week. So it becomes a form of catch up TV.
Obviously this would be after the film got transmitted just in case it upsets the channels. I also feel some films they really should give away for 50p due to the age.
Infact maybe virgin should do what they done with VOD/music and give it free to XL customers exclude brand new film flex premium films of cause or make a premium ticket at £10 month you get all movies. It would be very good move put pressure on SKY movies. How many would drop the SKY movies for a £10 premium vod movie channel ticket.
