Re: XL Package price hike anyone else ?

Just a guess, but does the figure from 13.10 include phone rental? Some bills were being merged last week, so may be to do with this.

Re: XL Package price hike anyone else ?

Maybe they did to you as they did to me, get you to agree a deal and price then expire a discount on that deal a few months later and just say 'sorry but your discount has now expired' without bothering to tell you that the discount would expire!

A 'Sharp practice' VM seem to be Expert at!

I can only surmise that humour is intended!

Re: XL Package price hike anyone else ?

Just checked my bill, and it states -
TV Size: XL 5 October - 4 November £20.50

Have you upgraded/downgraded any services lately?

Re: XL Package price hike anyone else ?

Well if Virgin are putting up the TV prices they've forgot to tell the staff and customers about it.

Most prob one of the following reasons:

1: You've had a offer that has now ended.
2: You've upgraded at some point and have been charged advance charges.
3: With the billing system change you've had a slight change in billing date. I.E. From the 7th of each month to the 13th. So this months bill is for a slightly longer period than 30days.

Re: XL Package price hike anyone else ?

Re-reading your post, you appear to being charged £29.35 for a months service (7 Oct - 6 Nov) - is it possible you could give the full description of each of the lines (like mine said TV Size: XL 5 October - 4 November £20.50 )?

Are there any other entries on your bill?

But TV: XL without a phone-line has been around £26 for a long time now.

Re: XL Package price hike anyone else ?

This has just happened to me too; after thinking I had been permanently put on the 3 for £30 tarrif, I now discover they really only fobbed me off with a 6 month "special".

Web-Junkie is 100% correct!
