Re: cable channels thru vcr

Hi mrclean35 and to the forums.

Do you subscribe to Virgin Media or does your VCR have a built-in Freeview receiver. If not you may consider whether one of the following options will suit you as an analogue aerial will on its own only give you access to channels 1 - 5 .
  • Subscribe to Virgin Media, Sky or one of the other providers of Digital TV who, once you have signed with them, will install the equipment you need to get more programmes.

  • Freeview, you either need to buy a special set-top box and connect it to your existing TV set, or consider getting a new TV or VCR/DVD recorder that has a built-in Freeview receiver.

If I have misread your enquiry and you have cable installed could you let us know which set top box you have ie Pace or Samsung and which services you pay for as this information may help us help you.

    Jo.
