Problem with TV picture - ondemand/filmflex

hi all,

new member here - been having a problem with my tv picture for last two months - have had several calls to virgin as well as two technicians out so far but no nearer a solution.

The picture is fine for all normal channels. however when i view any filmflex movie or any CH4 programme from Catch-up-tv i get little horizontal red lines across the screen. one engineer thought it mght be something to do with wavelength that these channels are sent down the cable?

anyone come across this before?

i am former telewest in N10 area if that makes any difference,

thanks,

A little bit off topic, but i get the interactive showing up as a ghost image sometimes, but not always. I think it's my LCD HD TV at fault though. I will find out once the TV engineer takes a look at it on Thursday.
