Anyone else note that the bottom line, where the score and info line is, is falling off the bottom of the screen on the current game between Peterborough and Southampton ?
Same with me but on a standard STB connecting via scart lead. The only way I can get the score up is when I scale up my Sony tv display to smart mode (exaggerated widescreen) then press the up cursor to display the score.
With the problem with Sentanta aspect ratio I am getting fed up with broadcasters displays at the moment
Seems a little low here, but the text is on-screen. Samsung STB via RGB Scart.
Edit: Mind you, I did spend ages in the engineers' menu for my TV to get the bare minimum of overscan so I can see that on an un-adjusted TV it could easily be off-screen.
Weird fix : I changed the output from 720p wide to 1080i wide and that did the trick....
Why should this be the case ?
One or the other (or maybe both) will need rescaling to fit the native resolution of your TV. I'd guess the result of rescaling is a slightly different picture height. Combine that with Sky placing the captions unusually low, and the result is the captions to fall off the bottom on one but not the other.
