Angry Copy to VCR DVD not working

Has any body had any joy getting this function to work.

I select under this section what recorded programs i want to transfer across to dvd and it says copying in progress but in the right top window is the source tv programs still running so when i record the source picks up the tv not the recordings i have selected any ideas how to fix this

Check you've got the DVD plugged into the correct SCART socket on the V+. It should be the bottom one.

You can continue to watch other programs once you've started it copying.
