Or try these adding 0 to the start of these :-536, 063, 271, 098, 117, 232, 530, 581, 130, 473, 088, 182, 064.

On your remote press home, then 9, then 7. This will give you codes and explain how to set it up.

Yeah it's true.....you can control the volume of your TV with the Telewesst / Virgin Remote!!

Press the "Home" Button

Now select option 9 "Help & Info"

Then select option 7 "Help with your remote control"

On the next page your face with 2 options

1. Find make of TV & codes
2. Set volume instructions

Firstly go and find you TV codes. This is alphabetical in order of Manufacturers name. When you've found your TV's brand write down alll the codes then press the "Back" button on your remote to go back to the page with the 2 options as above.

Now Select the "Set volume instructions" option. Read the instructions and revel in the 10 second window that you have to enter the code - I found that my mispent youth playing Defender, Mr Do, Asteroids and Track & Field came in very handy here!!!. If the first code doesn't work move on through the list until you get the flashing sequence on your remotes that tells you the correct code has been entered.

Now you can control the volume from your Telewesst / Virgin Remote!!

If none of the codes work come back on the forum and post it and I'm sure somebody will be able to hook you up.

Thanks for the further suggestions but still no joy. I think my tv must be an oddball. I've even tried the Vestel codes as I believe they are the original manufacturer.
