Unhappy Subtitles on Channel 5 have gone again

Hi folks

Its been a while since I posted on this forum, as I have been mega busy with my new business and family, so apologies if it seems I am posting randomly

As some of you may (or may not) remember, a while ago I had problems receiving subtitles on Channel 5. I called up VM and the engineer came. He was very good in finding out the cause.

At the time, we had a Pace box and he switched it to a Samsung one and the subtitles worked. I rely on subtitles, because I am Deaf. The settings on the STB are set to "subtitles on", other channels work ok, except Channel 5.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, the loss of subtitles on C5? It seems to always be Channel 5.

Do I need to ring up VM again and say the problem's come back? I don't like calling Faults, cos I always end up in India and they're a nightmare to understand. As I am Deaf, I use a relay service called Typetalk, to relay my calls to people. Indian people are just a nightmare to deal with.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Many thanks,
Wayne.

An update:

The subtitles are working now on Channel 5, so many thanks to Spiderplant and to the VM engineers for rectifying the problem.

Well done to spiderplant & VM!
