Virgin Media Television
Somewhere where I can b*tch about VMTV.
Theyve cocked up on TNA again!
Theyve had the contract 6 Months, and this is like the 7th or 8th time theyve messed it up.
Theyve showed last Saturdays episode again. Sometimes, I wish TWC had it again.
TWC must have had that contract for 3 or 4 Years, and there were about 4 Blips in those years!
Another thing.
Why show Brits Behind Bars on VoD all the way through the season, yet the final one does a no show?
PS: For anyone who needs/wants it, I have a link to the latest show of TNA iMPACT! to Download in RM format. If VMTV wont show it properly, then we have to see alternate versions.

Re: Virgin Media Television
Virgin Media TV cant show it if TNA or the postman cant get the tape into the UK and on their table on time.
---------- Post added at 19:50 ---------- Previous post was at 19:48 ----------
Last night show and next Saturday's show was tape in the US on Tuesday night - Not Monday night due to TNA PPV being on the road this month.
---------- Post added at 19:55 ---------- Previous post was at 19:50 ----------
TWC has TNA shows 9days after they show it in the US.

Re: Virgin Media Television
Shouldnt make a difference when they "arrive" in the office.
Thats the wonders of the internet, and digital delivery. I would be easier to recieve it through the Internet.
And if it isnt recieved ontime, then whats the harm in putting a notice up?
"Unfortunatly, due to circumstances out of Virgin Media TV's control, this weeks TNA iMPACT! will be a repeat of Last Weeks. This weeks TNA iMPACT! will be shown in a Double-header next week. Sorry for any Inconvinience."
Anyone who argues with that is just plain stupid!
Will there be a Double Header next week? Nope!
Will they show the missing iMPACT! this week in one of the Repeat slots? Nope.
Finally, I have no idea where you got the idea that TWC Fight! shows TNA 9 days after its taping (Which would mean It would be on a Wednesday/Thursday Night) or 9 Days after its showing (Which would mean it would be on a Saturday) because it doesnt.
The Bravo2 Contract is an EXCLUSIVE contract, with EuroSport Showing reruns of PPVs over the past 2 Years.
VMTV are in the wrong here, but because the Viewers of TNA are probably a Minority, they think that skipping shows is fine.
If SkySports did that with WWE RAW, Im sure Sky would fix it! Or even put a notice up!

Re: Virgin Media Television
Ive just read, also, that TNA is "closer than ever" to securing a 2 Hour slot on Spike for iMPACT! so that gives Bravo another hour to Cock up.
Youd think that with the ratings iMPACT! was getting in the US, they would start taking the company and UK fans seriously.
Funny, you never see this with Dog the Bounty Hunter or The Unit.
Shambles. I hope this takeover succeeds and we see an improvement in EVERYTHING.

Re: Virgin Media Television
So thats why I thought that the order of iMPACT! on Bravo 2 was a bit skewed, it is, come on guys, at least just say that you're showing a repeat rather than the latest ep from the US
Anyway, I think that in the UK at least, TNA is still being mostly ignored, even though it is rabdily improving, has a better standard of writing that the WWE, and are getting some decent talent too, shame most people here think WWE when they think of wrestling, and are unaware of TNA

They show 3 Month ago iMPACT!'s Monday to Friday at about 5pm everyday.
Then on Saturday, they showed the "Missing Ep" from last week at 5pm, and then on the TV Guide it said there would be a Doubl bill starting at 9pm.
That was a lie also. Instead of the 9pm-10pm iMPACT! (which presumably should have been last weeks) they showed some Cop program. Then at 10pm-11pm (the "Premiere iMPACT!" they have started advertising) they showed last weeks, when, presumably, this should have been the spot where this weeks should have been.
This morning? A TRIPLE BILL of iMPACT! all from around 2 weeks after Lockdown (it should be noted that they missed an episode before Lockdown, and never showed it in a Catch Up style, so most of us were left to wonder what had happened in TNA, or catch the results on the net, or even download it.)
Altogether, now, they have missed about 5 Episodes.
I wonder if Bravo ever did this with the old WCW and ECW shows?
I know Channel 5 started showing WCW Worldwide wierdly, but they never repeated themselves week after week.
This week, I will gove the benefit of the Doubt to VMTV, as the Postal Strike was Friday. Still, there should be alternative arrangements than the "reliable" postal service.
And I still believe a notice should be applied before or during the episode, appologising to customers/viewers.
Our subscription goes to these people and they constantly make errors like this.
